PureGreen24 is an EPA registered, broad spectrum antimicrobial disinfectant with unique 24 hour residual effectiveness. PureGreen24 has an EPA IV toxicity rating; the lowest rating assigned by the Federal EPA.  PureGreen24 is non-flamable, non-corrosive and odorless without the fumes or skin irritation associated with traditional disinfectants.  PureGreen24 is strong enough to kill the most dangerious viruses and bacteria (MRSA) in a hospital environment, yet EPA registered for use on Children's toys at home. 
 
PureGreen24's active incredient, SDC is comprised of silver ions and citric acid, both of which occur naturally in the environment.  The manufacturing process produces zero discharge with no waste or byproducts.
 
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) treats disinfectants as pesticides and requires all disinfectants to be registered with the US EPA for sale in the United States. In addition, disinfectants must be registered in each state where the product is sold. PureGreen24 EPA registration number is 72977-3-84364, and is registered in all 50 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

PureGreen24, powered by SDC, meets the recommendations by the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for infection control for care of patients with confirmed or suspected Swine Influenza A (H1N1) virus in both home and health care settings. According to the CDC, person-to-person transmission of flu occurs mainly through coughing or sneezing of people infected with the influenza virus. People may become infected by touching something with the flu viruses on it and then touching their mouths or noses. Guidance published by the CDC on April 24, 2009 for infection control in healthcare settings advises that “disinfection strategies used during influenza seasons can be applied to the environmental management of swine influenza.” Additional guidance published on April 25, 2009 for infection control in the home recommends keeping “surfaces (especially bedside tables, surfaces in the bathroom, and toys for children) clean by wiping them down with a household disinfectant according to directions on the product label.” Pure Green’s SDC-based (silver dihydrogen citrate) disinfectant has been registered by the EPA specifically for use on children’s toys, cribs, high chairs and other sensitive areas of the home as well as for use on hard surfaces in multitudes of environments, including hospitals, schools and offices.
